The Story Republic have the absolute pleasure of being part of The King Edward Mine annual family open day when it returns on Sunday 5th August. It will host a range of activities to entertain the whole family from guided tours of the Museum, Cornish storytelling, Gold panning, mini mining games, into the cage – blackout room, live music, face painting, children’s bouncy castle and local art exhibition. Learn about Cornish mining history, explore the Great Flat Lode by foot or by bike, discover their Nature Trail and unwind in The Croust Hut Café.
Entry to the Museum is free, car-parking is free, extra charges may apply for some activities.
