A monthly masterclasses for young people brimming with ideas and stories. Each session will have a different theme and be led by a mix of Cornish writers.
The session on 13th March is with Megan Chapman on ‘Writing Performance Poetry’ including rap and spoken word. Megan is a spoken word artist and rapper based in Cornwall.
The other sessions will be led by Cornish writers Olivia Lowry and Casey Bottono; themes to be announced.
Where is it?
Online. These workshops will be run through Zoom, an easy to access online meeting program available on computers and phones.
What happens?
Each session is full of discussion, short, fun exercises to get the creativity flowing and longer time to really get into your writing.
Who’s it for?
Any young writer. All you need is curiosity, a willingness to have a go and a notebook and pen. Then who knows what we’ll produce… We are creating a network of young writers to feed off one another, get their visions into words and hook into Cornwall’s rich cultural life.
