For the launch of her novel, Together We Evolve, author Polly Roberts will be running this workshop- part author reading and Q&A, part creative writing workshop. The ticket price includes a copy of the novel.

In 2019, Polly Roberts was named by the British  Council as one of five emerging nature writers in the UK. Her debut poetry collection, Grieving with the Animals was published shortly after. She is a writer and counsellor, and runs creative writing workshops around Cornwall specialising in nature writing and writing for wellbeing. Together We Evolve is her debut novel. It is a story of personal and environmental rewilding. Whilst grieving her father, Sophia experiences a miscarriage and turns to nature for answers. Writer Wyl Menmuir describes the novel as ‘at once unflinching and rich, moving and uplifting.’

The creative writing exercises will explore the self through nature, using writing as a tool to ground ourselves in place.
