Have you experienced barriers in your world of writing? Whether these are social, economic, personal or practical, this day of writing workshops and discussions is aimed to support you.

Featuring writers Louisa Adjoa Parker, Brett Harvey, Wyl Menmuir and Annamaria Murphy, this is an opportunity to meet professional writers and learn from their process and experience of forging a path into the writing industry. Including a free lunch and refreshments, the day will involve a key note speech, creative writing workshops and round table discussions with all the writers. Everybody is welcome!

About the Contributors:

Louisa Adjoa Parker is an English-Ghanaian poet, short story writer, memoirist and co-founder of The Inclusion Agency and the Where are you Really From? project. Brett Harvey is a writer & director based in Cornwall whose debut feature film Weekend Retreat won multiple awards including Best Director at the London Independent Film Festival. Wyl Menmuir is a Booker-nominated novelist, editor and writing teacher. A former journalist, ​Wyl has written for Radio 4’s Open Book, The Guardian and The Observer. Annamaria Murphy is a playwright, short story writer and writer for radio most recently co-writer for Radio 4’s long-running series Curious Under the Stars.
