Inspired by the poems of Jack Clemo and the site and landscape surrounding Wheal Martyn China Clay Museum and Country Park, children from Nanpean, St Dennis, Brannel and Poltair school have been working with Story Republic artists and writers.
Children have produced poems, riddles and kennings and their work is displayed around the site. Exploring the theme of journeys and the idea of scale, artists Alessandra Aussenda, John Keys, and Amanda Lorens have created giant sculptures of everyday objects that need Cornish china clay in their production.
