“It’s the highlight of my month” G, Young Writers Group member

What is it?
An ONLINE monthly session for young people who are brimming with ideas and stories and want to share them with like-minded, friendly young writers and readers.

Where is it?
Online. These workshops will be run through Zoom, an easy to access online meeting program available on computers and phones. Those who sign up will receive an email with a link to click when the session is booked to begin.

What happens?
Each session is full of discussion, short, fun exercises to get the creativity flowing and longer time to really get into your story. Sessions are led by Cornish writers Olivia Lowry and Casey Bottono.

Who’s it for?
Any young writer aged between twelve and sixteen. All you need is curiosity, a willingness to have a go and a notebook and pen. Then who knows what we’ll produce…

When is it?
Saturdays 10.30am-12pm

What does it cost?

The Young Writers’ group runs once a month, three times a term. You pay per term (for all three sessions). We understand that everybody’s financial situation is different, so we ask that you pay what suits your pay check £15/£20

We are creating a network of young writers to feed off one another, get their visions into words and hook into Cornwall’s rich cultural life.
