As part of The Story Republic residency at Truro Festival we are hosting an evening for young writers to flex their writing muscles and share them with a friendly audience.
Upstairs in the Speakeasy bar at Mustard & Rye in Calenick Street,Truro
On Wednesday 16th April from 7 to 9pm
This is an informal platform for young writers to air and perform their poem, short story, novel extract…
Story Doctors Annamaria Murphy and Seth Hampshire will be on hand to advise and listen to new ideas. Poetic prescriptions will be administered.
If performing, your piece should be no longer than three minutes. It must also be suitable for a general audience.
Feeling shy? Bring your piece or idea for perusal or for someone else to perform.
Families and friends really welcome – these young writers deserve an audience!
Writers should be between 16 and 25.
For more information and for young writers to book a place, contact Amanda Harris [email protected] or phone 07712331421
