Following the highly successful and very exciting Y7 news team engagement with the G7 in June 2021, The Writers’ Block team of young journalists led by Leo Devine and Rebecca Gregson with videographer Neal Megaw, were invited to document The Annual Conversation by Cornwall Council.
The Annual Conversation is about embedding the voice of young people and the rights of the child into Cornwall Council policy. At the end of the process the young ambassadors and Councillors made joint pledges around the themes of Climate Change, Health and Wellbeing, and ensuring good jobs and access to housing.
