Cornish Cornucopia with The Story Republicans at The Writers’ Block

Join us at The Writers’ Block for another fabulous promenade performance with The Story Republicans and local poets!

Cornwall’s wit, wonder and idiosyncrasy, shared through short stories, poems and folk song to captivate and caress your imagination. The Story Republicans will charm you with their bright-eyes, charm and glamorous word-sharing performances as they bring literature to life.

Through this events theme – Cornish Cornucopia – we’ll be celebrating the work of playwright Nick Darke alongside the work of Cornish poet Charles Causley and contemporary writers such as Annamaria Murphy and Simon Parker.

Local poets will be joining us and sharing their written word inspired by the beautiful land, coast and culture that surrounds us.
