An unforgettable character is the beating heart of a great story. But how, as writers, do we first breathe life into our conceptions? This one-off workshop will explore ways of bringing these protagonists kicking and screaming onto the page. We’ll raise them in a moral maze, steer them into the most awkward of predicaments, watch them make a mess of things and then demand that they tidy up after themselves. It’s tough love – if they can’t stand on their own two feet after all that, then they might just have to be killed off!
This session of decision making and writing is created and run by novelist and journalist, Rebecca Gregson.
Places are limited. Light refreshments provided.
Tickets £20 from CRBO by telelphone on 01726 879500 or buy at Heartlands Pool or Tourist Offices in Penzance, St Ives or Truro.
