Skills Development Day, for writers, artists and theatre makers
10.30 – 11.30 A box of Red, a box of Luck, a box of Teeth… keynote speech by Sue Hill. Artist, theatre maker, cultural animateur and Bill Mitchell’s partner in life and work, Sue will talk on how Bill worked and the extraordinary contents of his attic.

12 – 4pm Exhibition of Bill’s Boxes and collage books
The Writer Conversation Library: The opportunity for delegates to have a series of conversations with inspiring writers and artists Annamaria Murphy, Mercedes Kemp, Wyl Menmuir and Jane Darke on how they gather and process ideas. Delegates are invited to bring their own sketchbooks and notebooks to share with the writers and other attendees to provoke conversation. These take place at different points during the afternoon enabling delegates to explore the exhibition of Bill Mitchell’s work.
This event is free for creative practitioners as it is supported by Cultivator. There are limited tickets for the general public at £10.
