The celebration of midsummer – the Feast of St. John – takes place every year in Penzance as The Golowan Festival.
The Story Republicans have the wonderful delight of entertaining you around the streets, shops, cafes and bars of the town as they fill with parades. Gracing Penzance during Mazey Day, 29th June and Quay Day, 30th June.
Be prepared for fine words through poetry, wit, humour and song!
