From chronological plots to reverse narratives and non-linear timelines, from flashbacks to flashforwards, time is an integral part of storytelling. Over two sessions we’ll explore some of the many ways in which writers use time and twist it to their purpose, and you will experiment with these techniques in your own writing. Session one will focus on narrator and plot time (the distance between the time the narrator tells the story and that which the plot is set), and in the second session we will explore time frames, from the minuscule to the epic.
Places are limited. Light refreshments provided.
Session One: Friday 18 May, 1-4pm
Session Two: Friday 8 June, 1-4pm
Tickets £20 per session from CRBO or 01726 879500.
