Whether you are a new writer or already writing, this course looks at the creativity and craft of writing for the stage. Within the playful, imaginative space of The Writers’ Block, we explore theme, story, characters, dialogue, setting and staging through workshops, group discussions and feedback, culminating in a creative sharing event at The Minack Theatre.
Jane Pugh has worked in award winning films, edited children’s television, long-running drama series, single dramas and serials. She teaches script writing and understanding narrative at Falmouth University, she is an experienced workshop leader who performs her own comedy and storytelling. We will also be inviting a guest director for the 5th workshop to give a further insight into writing for the stage.
